This is a 12 inch figurine of Cal Ripken Jr. made by McFarlane. Ripken is one of only seven players in history to reach the 400 home runs and 3,000 hit plateaus, joining Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, Stan Musial, Dave Winfield & Carl Yastrzemski.  He retired having played in 3001 games (8th all-time), 3,184 hits (13th all-time), 431 career homers (30th all-time) and held or shared 11 Major League or American League fielding records.  Ripken will be eligible for induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY in 2007.
