Cam Neely, a burly right-winger who wore jersey No. 8, was the prototypical power forward during an impressive NHL career that lasted more than 700 games. Originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks (1983-86), he was traded to Boston where he played ten more seasons before hanging up his skates in 1996. During the early '90s, he became a league superstar after posting consecutive 50-goal seasons. In fact, he scored 28 points in 21 games when the Bruins reached their second Stanley Cup in three years in 1990. But after sustaining a serious knee injury in 1991, Neely played in just 22 games over the next two seasons. He bounced back in 1993-94 with 50 goals in 49 games and even won the Bill Masterson trophy for his amazing comeback from serious injury. A five-time NHL All-Star selection Neely was forced to retire in 1996 as a result of a degenerative hip. Pay tribute to Neely with this framed NHL Retired Jersey Numbers piece. It features him along with a 6'' replica jersey numbers of his uniform No. 8 with the Bruins. The item, which has measures 21'' wide x 16'' high, is framed with high quality black molding.
