New York Rangers fans loved the grit and determination with which Nick Fotiu played hockey. Even better, he was a hometown boy who was born and raised in Staten Island and attended Rangers games at Madison Square Garden long before he ever skated onto the ice there as a professional. Fotiu spent eight years as a left winger for the Blue Shirts, spanning from 1976 to 1979 and from 1980 to 1985, and he retired in 1990. Nick Fotiu has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of him skating on the ice without a helmet near the goal during a home game at Madison Square Garden, in January of 1982. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
