Sean Avery is a tough-as-nail centers who has played for the Detroit Red Wings and Los Angeles Kings and is currently a member of the New York Rangers. Avery joined the Rangers well into the 2006-2007 season via a trade and quickly made an impact with both his physical play and goal scoring ability, notching eight goals and 12 assists in 27 regular-season games. In fact, many Rangers fans credit Avery with being the spark that led the Rangers back to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
